Recent update made my lists show up only as tiny posters. No way to know what the list is without clicking on it, when they used to have labels.

Tried feedback in app. List not fixed

So I showed my friend just watch I think anybody should get it

1. I pay for pro. I don’t open the app everyday, but maybe monthly or weekly. An app shows ads, and ask me to remove them. So I have to remind it a once in a while that I already paid for the pro. 2. Their association with their website domain just does not allow easily to open developer website from App Store. As it open the app instead. 3. When I finally got to their website, impossible to find support contact. So that is my support request with 2 star to bring their attention.

Mark it as seen feature doesn’t work to have the episodes you’ve seen show up in your profile, which is very disappointing. Located under Lists > seen

Not long ago the app used to be good and accurate. Then when checking what’s new on various platforms old shows kept popping up and the app was very out of date. Example, it posted that just this week black mirror season 4 is now ‘new’ on Netflix. There are 6 seasons and it’s not new. So why is it saying it’s new. Bad info and paywalls have justified me deleting this app.

The layout is not great. It takes forever to find a show. IMDb showed me a movie in 30sec on Netflix that I want to watch and JustWatch doesn’t even show it without digging for it. The kicker is that movie was released in 2025. They need to revamp the interface.

Just updated and I don’t like the huge ad at the top of the page “based on your watchlist”. You can do that WITHOUT the gigantic video. We’ll have to PAY to get rid of it, right?!

Finally! A single screen with everything that came out on all my streaming apps today. No more looking through 8 different apps for me. One thing I would love is in the new page I don’t want to know if a new episode for a show is out but if a show just dropped. Don’t seem to be able to to do. Thank you though

Is this a Joke? Your app is ccomlletely nonfunctional except to strongman users into wasting $4 a month for trash. Enjoy bankruptcy dummies

The local listings are back! 😊. Ditched tvguide years ago—too many ads—and happy to have found this! It doesn’t spring into video, just gives the essential info—mostly. One drawback is inconsistency with details on movies/programs. But still better than whatever else is out there.

***UPDATE***After a lot of back-and-forth via email and in-app messages, here is the key - create an account if you never had one (I didn’t), then in-app message a new thread (even if you’ve already been without an account), and next patch your list comes back. (As of version 25.8.5) Wish they would just have said this was an account creation mandate. Wasted so much time and effort - why only went from 1 to 3 stars after fix, the pain of it all cost a couple stars (and the “Last added” sort data is now scrambled). Thanks to post “Watchlist Gone (now back!)” by Whatlist? on Jan 22 for an idea on how to fix this after over a month!!! Same issue apparently many have had. Several versions ago all user data (my watchlists) were deleted during an update. I did not have an account, but it’s always saved my data for years (locally on my phone I’m guessing). I held out hope after contacting support at the email given in developer response to many other reviews, but nothing recovered so far. It’s not looking good, it may never be, and I’m so sad - lost years of history and because I’m not starting over, it will be the end of my using JustWatch :-(

As soon as I download the app it had this message pop up before I could even check anything out, which by the way doesn’t make me feel warm and fuzzy after reading just the first sentence. So, I deleted the app and wrote this review for anyone like me willing to check out the critical reviews first. My watchlist was totally erased and the app now requires an account to access any functionality beyond a simple title search. Whadda racket you’ll get no email and data tracking from me boys

Great app until the recent update deleted my years-in-the-making list. I submitted “feedback” in the app a week ago -no response. I have sent an email to support, and the response was essentially “will get to you.” Send a second in -app feedback just now, hoping for a better outcome, but really disappointed and not inclined to use again unless fixed

Update: great response to my support email - they restored my watchlist which is great. Still figuring out if it links to the new account I had created after the list disappeared. But high marks in fixing the issue and being responsive! Original review: For years I cultivated a watch list. They now seem to require an account to do that. All well and good but with no warning they changed policies and in the process deleted my watchlist. Now requiring accounts is OK - just provide a migration path so you don’t destroy everyone’s data.

Used to be a great app, but of course greed took over and ruined it. Used it for years, had a watchlist, but now I’m forced to sign in with the last update. Figured my watchlist was being held hostage until I made an account, but nope. Made an account and watchlist is still gone. Well cya, easy decision to uninstall and find another. What’s the point with it watchlist nuked?

My movie list is gone. Where is it?? It disappeared after the last 2 updates. I’ve been using this app for years without fail. Who on your team is gong to get fired?? It’s amateur hour!

Seems that a new update is requiring you to login to add things to your watchlist. This is what I used it for but now if you try to add something it wont let you until you make an account. Tell me this change has nothing to do with selling my info and I’ll make an account but I highly doubt it.

Been using this for a long time but suddenly required me to make an account to save more movies to my watch list. After doing that it cleared my entire list :(

Highly recommend! Able to find what Korean dramas and Korean variety shows are so easily!

I’m so bummed I loved this app and have been using it forever. New version said create an account to continue adding to watchlist. I created an account now years with of saves are gone. Horrible! Comon developer don’t burn people like this. I want my saves back.

Guess I’m done. My whole list was wiped out with the new update. I’ll never get that back. Sorry to see it go.

Dude, this app makes it so much easier to figure out where I can watch things. It’s been a while since I’ve seen an app that actually does what it says it does. AND does it without serving me ads every ten seconds! 10/10 Recommend

Giving two instead of one stars only because it worked great until now. I have lost everything I have stored in my watchlist that took years and years to accumulate. If this is a way to push me into creating an account, not well done. Now I’m in the search for an alternative.

Used to love this app and find it invaluable to track movies and shows I wanted to watch. You didn’t need an account and the app tracked movies you added to your list. Recently the app was updated to require yet another username and password for a free account, and in the meantime your watch list has been deleted. Very nice (sarcasm). I don’t think the people who made the app need to know who I am and what movies I want to watch so I’ll pass on that and especially on the premium paid version I’m sure I’d be getting spam emails about going forward. What a time to be alive…

So disappointed. Had so many movies and shows saved in my lists. Opened the app today and everything was gone, no explanation as to why or anyway to get it back. Truly has been a great app, no issues up until now. Been using it for about a year but don’t want to bother starting a new list if there’s a possibility that everything could disappear 😔

Used to love this app. But with the latest update my watchlist completely disappeared. Not cool.

The most recent update deleted my watch list. It also asked me to upgrade to premium. No thanks.

They are often not up to date as to where movies are currently streaming. Especially for free streaming. Right now I’m streaming a movie for free on Netflix(Selma, though it’s leaving on Jan 16) that’s not listed on JustWatch as an app to watch it. So don’t depend on it being accurate, it is incomplete quite often.

This was working great until my watchlist suddenly and completely disappeared. And right when they did that, they asked me to rate the app so here’s your rating.

This is one of my most used apps. It’s great for tracking your favorite movies and TV shows so that you know where they’re streaming.

They could add some other options for filtering and finding something new to watch (roulette/wheel?) It’s overall is a great app!!

After using this app for several months, I’ve learned it has the same shortcoming as another similar app I’ve tried, i.e. it’s just not accurate as to what is currently available on what streaming service. I’ve had multiple instances where the app tells me something on my watchlist is currently available on one of my subscribed services, when in fact it isn’t. Or worse, where it fails to indicate that something on my watchlist is actually available on one of my services, when it it. I’ve sent several feedbacks through the app about these instances when I notice them, but the problems continued. If you can’t trust the info coming from an app like this, then it’s pretty useless…you will never know whether something you want to see is available or not without manually checking each of your services each time, which was what the app was supposed to do instead.

I have marked some shows as “Seen”, but some show up there and some do not

I love the JUSTWATCH app. It is like a streamers encyclopedia. You can look up any tv shows and movies. It will tell you where you can buy and stream the shows and movies. Even in 4K, HD, SD and free. I also love that the JUSTWATCH app is available on smart tv devices. Even gaming console XBOX!

I love the idea of this app, but my experience with it is it’s information is out of date or just plain wrong way too often.

I can’t get this to play on my phone or Roku No app to download on my Roku tv but have it on my phone will not play , finds my Ty just won’t play

The app lacks a way to modify privacy settings if you inadvertently click “Accept All.” I couldn’t locate the button for this purpose. When I chose to delete my account, it informed me that the account had been deleted, yet I was able to log back in for some reason.

I love this app, yes IMBd shows cast members and tells you what else they were in, but just watch knows the difference between a watchlist and a watched list. And I can select and add multiple episodes of tv shows to lists at once. Unlike IMBd which you have to do one at a time
